Due to the cylindrical design, it cannot be mounted without great effort (no tendency to crush). The passenger side didn't fit at all - in fact the body shop mechanic had to do some dremel work to get them to fit somehow, but it's clear they were designed for this type of headlight setup. The driver's side is fine, but the headlight had to be removed to get enough support to pivot it into place. The fans are clearly noticeable when the car is switched off. will never fit properly no matter how much body work has been done on the body. The design of the stem and the installation space make them very bad for the average consumer, since the headlight (B7 Passat of the 2015 generation) has to be removed, which is not easy at all, since a large part of the entire front has to be removed from the car. There's no way to grab this thing to roll it up with the headlight assembly still attached to the vehicle. Resetting the stars to one due to the complexity and headaches caused by these bulbs - no light emitting - and the need to purchase the entire headlight assembly [pair] as a result. The light emitted is a good, bright white with no blue or yellow cast.
