Review on Neiko 🔧 11402A Stubby 4-Inch Exchange by David Ross

We had to drill some 2x10 pressure treated joists with close spacing. I had to use an angle adapter for a drill as well as short drills. I sewed 4-5 of these from this set using a 3/8 bit and it bent at the base (see picture). Disappointed but willing to admit the bit got quite hot and the torque action of the angled adapter could be to blame. For this reason I do not give 1 star and leave it neutral at 3 stars. Also, they have a hard time punching through 2" wood (which is actually only 1.675" thick) so I had to drill a hole on the other side after the tip popped out on the 1st side. Again only 4-5 boards had to be made due to broken flex so can't talk about long term sharpness etc. Might need to be returned, but other smaller bits can come in handy in sticky situations.
