Review on BAYITE DC 12V Digital Temperature Controller ๐ŸŒก๏ธ with Sensor and 1 Relay - Fahrenheit, 10A by Drew Panah

This review is for the 12 volt version of Farenheit

I am using this unit as part of a 12 volt solar/battery powered system in our chicken coop to run a fan for cooling. been working for a few weeks now. So far, so good. I will update in a few months. Or sooner if it fails. Pros: Simple programming. after reading the Chinglish instructions very carefully. Can be programmed for both heating and cooling. You can program the setpoint to be X degrees off your target temperature. Sufficient cable length at the heat sensor; This allowed me to install the sensor in the hottest part of the barn instead of next to the temperature control. Gives a continuous digital temperature reading. ** This may contraindicate if you are using the absolute minimum current in your batteries. Measurement steps are 1/10 degree. Compact and light. Clamps are solid. Cons: Very limited mounting options. You either need to cut the project box to a very tight tolerance so you can use the tension knobs (those orange things in the picture) and plug them in from the front, or make your own mount. However, at this price point, it's kind of a 'nick'. MUST be Chinese which can be translated into better English; or Americans who can do it for them! While the instructions are better than most Chinglish instructions, they are still well below what is acceptable in 2016.
