I originally bought this case as a quick must have for a new phone. I chose it because I could still see the color of my phone (which is purple and my favorite color). I figured I would look for a better one later and just needed protection for my new phone. When I got it - I had a lot of doubts about it protecting my phone.but months later with many drops and my phone landing on it's face I LOVE THIS CASE! The raised areas at the corner have done well at protecting the face of my phone. And I have no reason to look for another one.
