The first 2 reviews above are inaccurate. These tube seals work perfectly and are installed by removing the valve cover and pressing into the valve cover to seal the spark plug tube from the underside of the valve cover. These customers were keen to have a low profile dust seal between the spool and valve cover that would fit and rest on the spool. on the valve cover to prevent dirt from entering the spark plug tube. They worked great under the valve cover as expected on a 2001 Toyota Sienna.
