I like the over all design and concept of the martingale collars. However, we purchased a blue one just like this one shown in picture in late March. Today, three months later it has frayed at the seam on the loop that holds the tags where it connects to the thicker nylon. It looked sturdy, so we didn't expect any such problems as this. Luckily, my husband noticed it this morning. I walk our 45 lb lab mix daily who pulls quite hard at times whille on walks. Even so, it should've held up longer than three months. It very easily could've broken on our walk today which could have been a disaster for me.
