Review on AMD FX-8320E FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor by Velizar Hennessy ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Excellent processor. I overclock it to 4.5 Hz using the Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z. In Prime95, the maximum temperature was 63 degrees when running at 100% load, compared to 35–37 degrees when idle. Although AMD touts the processor as a rival to the i5-3570K, for some reason everyone compares it to the Intel Core i7-3770K. The Intel Core i5-3570K is ranked 86th, the i7-3770K is 23rd, the new i7-4770K is 15th, and the FX-8350 is placed 35th (! ), despite being the least expensive of the top fifty processors, on the website www. Cpubenchmark. Net.

Pros
  • Inexpensive. Even though the flagship FX-8350 Vishera is less expensive than the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge, it performs just as well. well accelerated. Excellent potential for multi-threaded programs and games (I suppose everyone is aware that the eight-core Jaguar and Kabini processors from AMD will power the new Xbox and Sony PlayStation 4, and that new toys will be optimized for the eight-core x86 architecture).
Cons
  • 1. Like any other processor, it becomes hot when overclocked. Investing in a quality cooler is preferable if you intend to overclock. 2. It appears that this generation of processors' Socket AM3 + will fail. The Excavator will likely be delivered next year on AM4 +, and the Steamroller will likely be released in the second half of this year on something akin to AM4. In other words, the motherboard will need to be updated with each upgrade. However, Intel is in a comparable circumstance.
