Review on FH Group Universal Fabric FH FB050114 by Jeff Drollinger

Better than I thought

My first impression when buying universal car covers was of course doubtful but after reading the reviews and seeing the photos I was confident that I would buy them. The first step I took when receiving these covers was IRONING! Yes, iron seat covers. I put a thin towel over the comforter and used lots of steam, smoothed out the wrinkles and the overall look is 100x better. Lay them flat until ready to install as they wrinkle easily. I also used an incense burner stand to poke in areas that were too tight for my fingers and this helped pull the lids tighter and give them a smoother look. I did it myself and it took just over an hour, so I'd say the installation wasn't that difficult. Also, since my headrest is a lot flatter and not very wide, I tucked the rest of the fabric underneath and secured it with a safety pin. I didn't remove the seat for installation, just tucked it in a bit. Note that it does NOT have pre-cut holes for the seat belts and headrest, so be prepared to cut through the fabric (start very small). Also, it doesn't match the side airbags, so I have to cut out more fabric for them to be visible. I can't say how long or how well they will last, but they are affordable enough to buy again if the need arises. I'll take them in black next time, they seem prone to staining, so the black color will hide that. hope they hold up!
