I needed some kind of non-buggy thickness gauge that would work in the cold, because the other one immediately began to fail in the cold and died for a long time. I have been working with this for two winters and everything is normal, there are no problems in the rain either, but I don’t recommend immersing it in water directly))) One battery is used, it doesn’t eat much, but it wasn’t included in the kit.
