Review on Janome Computerized Extension Instructional Buttonhole by Carrie Spencer

My husband surprised me with this for Christmas. I have been sewing since I was a child, but I do it as a hobby. I asked him if I could write a review after struggling with this machine for hours. I would not buy a Janome machine nor would I recommend it to anyone! I called 1-800 to help and you should leave a message. Nobody ever called back. I'm sick of him spending so much money on something with no support and no one to call if there's a problem. I would recommend buying a car locally so you can get help if you have any problems. It's making strange noises for a car that costs so much it should be a tank. I sewed dog shoes, and due to many problems, what should have taken 1 hour turned into 5 hours. Do not buy very expensive equipment. I don't even know what kind of guarantee and if there is one as it was a gift. I've spent hours on the internet looking up phone numbers for help and support for this device. I have never found support or help.
