With these ingredients in mind, I had no hesitation in feeding my dog Nutrience Food. Some people question the size of nuggets for small dogs, but I like this size. They're not so big that my 20 lb dog can't chew them and the size slows them down a bit. Some of the "little dog" pieces are so small that they rival in size cat food. In these cases, my dog practically inhales the food. I'd rather she takes the time to chew on each bite, which is probably better for her digestion and better for her teeth. The bag the food came in is very sturdy and I love the velcro closure for freshness and to prevent spills. The only downside is that my dog will normally eat almost anything and yet sometimes hesitate to eat this food. She's never left a crumb behind, but something about the taste or smell keeps her from jumping in right away. I'm not sure what the problem is, but she ends up cleaning her bowl every time.
