I bought this to put on a toy box (chest) I made to keep the lid from banging on my granddaughter's little fingers. This is a good product that works as intended. Installation is actually easy, but the instructions were a bit confusing. The easiest installation method is to first install the cover bracket per the information in part "A” of the table and then install the bottom bracket. See my video for details. Pros: Lid closes slowly when opened at 105° or less. Easy installation despite instructions. The tension is adjustable. a plus. I would definitely buy again and probably will.
