I bought it on the recommendation of a relative. I have several batteries in cars, trucks, RVs and spare parts. I've always worried about the batteries dying in storage and a regular charger was too much to just plug in and leave. This little gem is amazing. Connect it, let it charge, after a day or two the battery is fully charged and switches off. It doesn't get hot. Runs on deep cycle and regular 12V batteries. Very satisfied.
