Sturdy but very thick and inflexible
These guards are very thick and well made. The quality is there. However, they are also inflexible, difficult to hold on to and slip very easily. I wanted them to please, but my pans slid together. They're so thick that some of the pans don't even sink into the pan below, causing them to slide right off the top and onto the bottom. I could see how they can handle very heavy pans, but as an older person I rarely use really heavy pans. I had to send them back.
