Cleaning... I love Fluval aquariums... I had 2 aquariums prior to this purchase. These are simply the best filtration systems ever designed. If you like a clean aquarium, think again. The glass plate is glued, you cannot take it off to clean it thoroughly. The small access hole means you can't clean the bottom of the jar from the top, corners or sides from the inside. I threw mine in the trash after 4 months. this is a fight It was expensive. I am very disappointed in this purchase as I paid $249. It's a nice concept but bad design for the owner. Another issue is the constant accumulation of water on top of the glass cover... it's hard to see the fish when the focus is on the condensation issue. I wish Fluval would send out the new designs to people like me to give them feedback first before putting them on the shelves for purchase. Fluval... call me!
