I received this product about five or six weeks ago. Since then I've been using it about 3 times a week for a few hours on average, literally with no problems. However, last night the adapter that allows you to connect a headphone jack to a USB port seems to have broken. When I plug the headset into my computer like regular headphones, it works fine. But when I try to use a USB-C or USB-A connection (via an adapter that can also control volume and mute the mic), not only does my computer not recognize it, it says there aren't any speakers or microphones. connected without even paying attention to the speakers and microphone of the system. I have no idea what could have caused this other than a faulty product, but if you're looking for a $20 headset I'd recommend using it as a last resort. Find something that won't break while you're using it.
