This carrier is perfect for a medium sized adult cat. Our cat weighs about 11.5 pounds, fits in comfortably and can roll over with ease. Mesh on the front and sides allows cat to see you when they are nervous while traveling. The shoulder strap is nice and comfortable. The grip is good and solid. The zippers work great. Soft and supple. Stylish and beautiful colors. I let my cat get used to it before taking it to the vet with it. I put it inside for the first time, zipped it up, and slung it over my shoulder with the shoulder strap. I drove her around the house and talked to her the whole time. After a few minutes I set the stretcher down, opened the front and let it come out on its own. Then I immediately gave her a treat, told her she was a good girl and petted her. When we went to the vet I showed her the stretcher and she rode it with no problem. Going to the vet was easy. No screaming or hissing. I definitely recommend this carrier.
