We have 6 dining chairs from RH with inexpensive white plastic bases. Over time, the plastic wears out and the chair legs come into contact with the wooden floor. I thought it might work. They initially fit snugly around the chair legs, but eventually stretch and fall off when you lift the chair. Then, on the chairs that don't lift off the floor, the felt pad on the bottom starts to separate from the silicone sleeve, leaving its sticky black marks on my hardwood floors. We had them less than 2 weeks. I do NOT recommend.
