Easy to put on. Not hard, stretches well around chair legs. Little did I know that the front and back legs of the chair are different shapes and sizes. The legs of the front chair are probably too big. One lid is a little cracked and I'm waiting to see if it cracks and falls off again. The cushions work great as the chairs slide very well on the hardwood floor. I wish there was another one in the kit as I've seen it's easy for others to stretch them too far and separate them.

I really liked these rubber boots when I first bought them and put them on my chairs. Unfortunately they didn't last very long. If it were just me I would be fine, but my husband is very picky and the ankle boots on the chair he sits in started deteriorating within a week and sealing our hardwood floors. sooo I told him to use a different chair and he did the same. Bottom line: if you're not too picky this is a great buy, but if someone in your family is picky I'd turn it down.

We have 6 dining chairs from RH with inexpensive white plastic bases. Over time, the plastic wears out and the chair legs come into contact with the wooden floor. I thought it might work. UPDATE: Felt pads on most used chairs come off making them much less effective and leaving glue residue on the floor. my dreams! Not quite, but they're pretty cool. I tried many different things, glued on felt pads, nailed things with big plastic heads and felt pads and maybe other things. My floor STILL had its coating worn away over time. I tried a few leg guards, all were the wrong size for my foot and I almost gave up, but found this one and decided to give it one last try. They're stretchy enough to fit my oddly shaped stool and bar stool legs, and they're black so they're not as flashy as some might be. Overall they are what I wanted and they do their job well. I've used hard ones in the past and they could be too tight or too loose depending on the size of the chair leg, causing them to fall off from time to time. Lightweight they stay better and less noticeable due to the snug fit. However, there was a problem we encountered.
