My husband bought this to add some light to the back of his chopper project. We immediately noticed that the wires are very thin and fragile. Rather than risk the tape and connectors coming loose, we opted to solder the connections together. The fact is that the cables coming from the headlight are so short that these connections had to be routed through a cable duct on the inside of the rear fender. After a (short) drive, he had already lost his right turn signal. :(If the cables were a little heavier this would be a 5 star all day product. It's thin, flexible and goes well with the bike's black fender. The bright lights definitely improve the bike's visibility.. but it works again about using hand signals for the right turns until he has the time and motivation to rip the wing off and see where he lost connection. :(
