Review on FloraCraft Styrofoam Cutting Tool Hot Wire Battery Operated StyroCutter by Laurie Fitzgerald

I bought two of these and they were both DOA. Used brand new Duracells both times and double checked everything—the batteries worked in a lantern and were installed properly etc. (even tried them upside-down). Made sure the bottom/cap coil was well-seated and tweaked the switch a little bit because it feels very loose and generally crappy. No luck. Returned it (very easily through revain) and bought a second unit, assuming I just got a lemon. Same story with the second unit. This is the cheapest cutter of its kind on revain. Sounds pretty hit or miss based on other reviews. Build quality is very poor.
