This box was bought to replace a noisy metal box. We live in a mobile home with our four-legged children all the time. The box saves her from worrying when we leave the carriage. We wanted something that was easy to set up and take down. All requirements were thus fully met. A padded cage isn't ideal for every situation, but if your dogs are cage trained and don't run away from performers, you couldn't do better. By the way, I accidentally ordered XXL for the first time. My fault 100% - Pressed the wrong button. If you need a cage for a Shetland Pony or Great Dane, this size is for you. (well, maybe not Shetland). They were great with us and allowed returns with no issues. The second time we bought the Large which was perfect for a mix of 40lb boxers.
