I'll start by saying I've been using SheaMoisture products for many years. I am 63 years old. I have never experienced any sensitivity to their products. By the way, I really like their products. Yes, I read other people's reviews and just assumed that people who are struggling are prone to sensitivity. However, I had problems with both of these products. Used the set twice. The first time I felt the shampoo covered my wavy/curly hair. The conditioner seemed to weigh down my hair which was already covered in shampoo. I woke up the next morning with redness around my hairline and blemishes on my face. I also had patches on my scalp. I tried washing my hair with regular SheaMoisture products but still felt like my hair was "covered" and my scalp was itchy. So much so that I went to the store to buy a gentle cleansing shampoo. I washed my hair twice in the same day until it was back to normal. I see from the reviews that many people have had very successful experiences with this combination. I'm sure this is a wonderful product, it gave me a terrible reaction. I sent the product back thanks to Revain.
