For absolute health, I try to keep my drinking water between 7.3 and 8.5, which also contains minerals. I'm starting to use an alkaline APEX filter which adds minerals to the water and makes the water between pH 7.3 and 8.5 drinkable. I've found traditional filters get the job done, however they filter everything including the beneficial minerals and alkalinity your body needs. This means that the water coming out of a traditional filter will be yellow at a pH of 4.0, which is acidic. My Home Experiment clearly shows that traditional filters make water acidic compared to an alkaline filter like an APEX filter which filters the water and adds minerals to keep the water pH at 8 for drinking water. And here is the drop tester I used to check the pH. pH test liquid https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008BMJ8M0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_8GaIyb84AGYPBDon't believe my words. Seek. Your body needs a balanced pH in the water, not too high and not too low, balanced at 8. It's like body temperature. I have no plans to buy an expensive Kangen ionized water filter. I have attached a photo of my APEX tabletop drinking water filter.
