Review on Atolla Hub with Reader Splitter and Individual Switches by Dezz Watson

I bought this because I needed to transfer a large amount of data from one micro SD card to another and my laptop only had a micro SD card port. I used the hub's micro USB slot as a self-powered hub, which probably wasn't necessary, but I wanted to rule out power issues. When I tried to copy files, I got an error message after a few minutes. I was able to copy small amounts of data, but when I selected large blocks, it copied first and then gave an error. I would then have to manually check which data was copied and which was not, and then copy the new block. (Too long!) After finally copying the data, the micro SD card works fine in the PC micro SD slot, so I really think it's a hub issue. I tried using it on different USB ports on the PC but always got the same error. I would send this back but I lost the box so I guess I'm stuck with that. I've never tried USB ports. Sure, YMMV, but if you want to use the microSD slot, I'd suggest using a different hub.
