I bought this cable when I bought a new iPhone four months ago. I haven't used it that much. But this week I was going on a trip, so I decided to take it with me to use my favorite headphones. The audio had always been tinny, but it was starting to generate random noise. Even if no sound was played. Even after adjusting the cable, cleaning the Lightning connector and dusting the Lightning connector on the phone itself.
