I just received this juicer yesterday and was excited to try it. I was swayed by all the great reviews on the internet - I was very misled and can't believe people rated this so highly. Boy am I really sorry for those who think this is a great juicer - juicing shouldn't be that hard or take that long - and I still can't clear the screen from the test juice I made yesterday ! Strange! I have owned the Champion Juicer since 2003 and it has been a great experience and an absolute breeze compared to what I experienced yesterday with this juicer. The only reason I haven't bought a new Champion Juicer is because they have reviews on their website about how well their juicer squeezes juice out of greens, but my Champion Juicer does the job just fine because there was a lot of pulp in my greens . Juice last night and I've never experienced that with my juices. I bought this new juicer primarily for green juices and celery juice. It's terrible. You have to feed him slowly. You can't bet too much at once. It's heavy and makes juicing so tiring. There are quite a few parts that need to be disassembled/reassembled and cleaned - they are heavy and complex - also I've squeezed 1 juice and see that the plastic part of the gears is already discoloring after one use? The only good thing about this juicer is that it's quieter than my champion juicer. Today I am sending this juicer back. I wanted to give it a second chance this morning by drinking celery juice, but after spending 20 minutes cleaning out the juicer. I won't even try again - it's not worth my time! I'm not the type to take the time to give proper reviews, but I felt compelled to caution people given that it was rated so highly online and it motivated me to buy. That's a lot of money - this juicer is terrible, don't waste your money. Also made in Korea - no thanks - I'm about to buy a new champion juicer - it's fast with minimal parts - so easy to clean and juices really well!
