This is the second one I have purchased. The first cost $10 more elsewhere. I like the ability to put the knives in any slot making it possible to use some slots for two. The small footprint replaced my wood knife holder with room to spare. I was able to load all the knives from my wood holder plus my new sheathed set from a famous cook. What I like best is the ability to see the blade and choose whichever knife you want. My chef friend who received this gift was equally impressed with its functions.cons: It only comes in gray. High priced one has multiple color choices.
