Review on ๐Ÿ”ฎ VViViD Air-Tint Extra-Wide Headlight Taillight Vinyl Tint Wrap 16 Inch x 48 Inch Roll - Purple Color - Enhance Lighting & Style! by William Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The material stretches well for any shape. A heat gun will likely be required for complex shapes/curves.

Dark black made my car look cute and mean but overall too dark. At night the light output seemed decent, while during the day it was difficult to see. I got pulled over easily (and constantly) in San Francisco, California. The smoke seems like a good compromise, although I wish it was a little darker. The light output was much better and still looks better than the standard bright red color. They are much easier to work with than traditional, thin, brittle paint. I was able to stretch it enough to wrap around the complex compound curves of my lights. There are a few faint lines that I had to reposition and warm up on, but I'm hoping that after some time in the sun they will fade and heal on their own. The time will show. A heat gun is required for quality installation. I'm not sure if the hair dryer heats the material fast enough to be effective. I left another review for the dark black color and packaging/shipping seems to be an ongoing issue which unfortunately is supplied and sold by Vvivid. Dark black came broken and dented. I was still able to apply it, but tiny creases were still visible after curing. Smoke (only 3 rolls on 2 separate occasions) has adhesive residue on the first few inches of the roll which is almost impossible to remove and makes installation difficult. Luckily the rolls we have are long enough for me to cut this part and it's still enough to make 2 lamps. Like I said, I love the product, but a packaging/shipping solution will probably resolve more than half of the complaints I see about Revane. Rolling the material around a good stiff tube would have helped, but for the price and overall quality it's hard to complain too much.
