I have a huge shop vacuum that is difficult to move from place to place. I wanted a smaller, more comfortable one. Something I could easily carry from place to place. It meets all requirements. It has strong suction power. Ideal for cleaning cars and chimneys. However, note that the 1.5 gallon specification is for liquids only. The filter frame takes up most of the internal volume, so it holds less for dry cleaning. However, this was not a problem for us as it is very easy to empty. It fits easily into a standard trash bag, so you can just throw it away and get on with your work. The standard foam pipe filter is only intended for wet cleaning. If you are doing dry cleaning, a dry filter is included that is placed on top of the foam filter. This is very easy and the optional dry filter can be washed and reused. The kit includes brackets for the vacuum cleaner and the attachments to mount it on the wall if necessary. I really like it and I'm glad I bought it. If you want one that will hold up a little more to dry cleaning, there's a 2.5-gallon option. highlighted.
