This is certainly not a professional cleaning kit but it is a good inexpensive item to buy if you don't want to lose a lot of money. I bought it mainly for the multi-directional sprocket cleaning brush, the space around the bearings and of course the chain. You may need something tougher to remove the buildup of dirt, but this can be purchased almost anywhere. If you drive regularly, you need at least SOME cleaning kit. You should also get some oil and some isopropyl alcohol and then figure out which parts need lubricated and others clean.
