As mentioned earlier, one of the arrows on one of the pieces is reversed. This made it impossible to build until I figured out why. One of the countersunk holes for one of the screw mounts was misaligned. The wood was soft enough that I could just smash through it. But it ruined the finish a bit. Ergonomically, the chair looks like it was designed for a six foot tall man. When I sit on the bench with my buttocks pressed, my knees rest on the edge of the knee brace. When my knees touch the knee pad, my buttocks are on the edge of the bench. By using an extra cushion you sit comfortably on the chair. However, this is the best lap chair on the market at this price point.
