I've heard of a few other laundry towels and many of them claim to work but leave big white streaks on clothes. Or poorly cleaned. Reviews were few when I saw them, but they weren't too expensive either. So I thought, "I'll try them out. I won't have much money if it doesn't work, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if it works." Additionally, we're tired of spilling liquid detergents or those with downward-facing nozzles for easier dosing. What happened as they kept dripping and making big puddles of slimy detergent. These guys are just amazing! Not only do they not leave a mess, they can even handle my teenage daughter's stinky soccer jersey and make it smell fresh. I like that too the smell isn't as overpowering as some laundry towels. They're definitely more expensive per piece or load than Costco's big tub. However, I feel good about helping the environment without having to put a big plastic container in. And I don't have one Mess in my whole laundry room.
