I had high hopes for this as summer is here. I froze it per the directions, poured in my juice and squeezed out a cup. He managed his task, but there was almost no room inside. Maybe 4-6 ounces? The mud formed fairly quickly, but unevenly, and the sides were more frozen than the middle. I left about half in the cup and set it on the counter and after 30 minutes the slush was gone and the juice in it was room temperature. I'm in Florida so it's hot but the mug was air conditioned inside so the room temperature isn't too bad. I've been looking forward to slushies for the summer, but I still have to buy them if I want to. Too bad. Good idea that didn't work.
