I bought an older model of this motion detector for my new home a few months ago and decided on the newer model. Very easy to install, instructions are easy to use. Pros: - Solar powered makes it easy to set up and forget about. - The range is VERY long. There are three sensitivity settings. The receiver can be very loud. I live in a two story house and hear it almost everywhere. Customer service is wonderful! I can't stress this enough. I emailed the company to help set up some recipient settings. They are very responsive and very accommodating when you come across a faulty device. Cons: - Although there are 30 melodies, many of them sound too long. There are 3 short ringtones that I use for each sensor. The sensor can be finicky and it can take a while to find its ideal spot for cars, people, etc. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.
