I'm willing to try again if needed but it didn't work for me

I'll add my previous post Yesterday I was in a situation where I had to use an alarm clock when I pulled out the pen, nothing happened, a bit disappointed when i bought it, i hoped i would need it one day, it would work. I hoped I would never need it. but I did it. Luckily I'm fine and things are under control, but it was a bad situation. I checked the batteries and they were fine, flashlight worked, checked the pen, couldn't find anything wrong. I like the Descreat size. I just want to understand why it worked. I'm considering getting another one and see I'm more than willing to give it a second try. Many Thanks
