I changed crochet to knit. Everywhere I hear people wish they had made them, they were popular with newbies. Update: after 2 days they seem to be the best for beginners. The seams don't slip like they do with aluminum and the curve helps too. More even stitches and you won't end up with such a wobbly, huge last stitch. The 40-inch cable is not interchangeable and, surprisingly, doesn't get in the way. I won't go back to aluminum, the stitches on it slide just right at the right tension. These needles are in excellent condition. The size is clearly marked. Durable tubes. Don't worry about the low price. High quality. Great holiday gift.
