This cookware goes great with my homemade bread, hot or cold. I was looking for a knife that would cut my hot homemade bread (that I bake in my bread maker) and this is just the ticket. My bread used to be sticky, but not anymore. The only downside I see is that it was made specifically for this purpose. So if you want to use it to cut a really wide piece (e.g. over two inches wide) it won't fit between the wood and the teeth.
