Received this product, opened and placed on the base station. I then placed it on the kitchen table, unaware that there was a small amount of water on it. He sent an alert and I got a call from SimpliSafe with a notification. I couldn't believe it. I put it in the upstairs bathroom in case the toilet overflows or leaks while we're away. I've since bought two more of these and placed one in the laundry room behind the washing machine and one in the basement between the water heater and the sump pump. The good thing is that I don't have to worry about flooding in my house.
