Review on Mobil 1 M1-301 Long-lasting Performance Oil Filter by Mark Greenwood

The combination of trying to save a few bucks and horror stories about shops using the wrong oil makes me do all my oil changes myself. My 2002 Audi A4 1.8T requires this relatively large filter and Amazon offers a great price and fast shipping due to my lack of foresight. I combine this with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and my car runs great. For others with Audi/VW 1.8T Mobil 1 0W40 is one of the approved oils and after careful research 5000 miles seems to be the required change interval according to the revised service bulletin although the bar reminder says 10k.
