Description of Mobil 1 M1-301 Long-lasting Performance Oil Filter

Provides long-life performance for today's longer drain intervals. Effectively removes contaminants, with a 99.6 percentage Multi-Pass Efficiency Rating and an advanced synthetic fiber blend media. Holds double the contaminants compared to other filters, with 28.0 grams of total capacity. Withstands nine times normal system operating pressure, for exceptional protection up to 615 pascals per square inch. Prevents dry starts by eliminating internal leakage during shutdown through the use of a silicone anti-drain back valve (where required by OEM)

000,000 miles on my Eagle in the last 10 years and the engine still runs great. Longer time between oil changes means I save money.

This actually fits 1994-1997 Eagle Visions as well as Dodge Intrepids of the same years, despite what Revain says. I have been using this filter and changing the oil on my Eagle every 10,000 miles for the last 10 years and the engine is still running great. Longer time between oil changes means I save money and can spend a little more on high mileage synthetic oil.

Ideal for DIY

The combination of trying to save a few bucks and horror stories about shops using the wrong oil makes me do all my oil changes myself. My 2002 Audi A4 1.8T requires this relatively large filter and Amazon offers a great price and fast shipping due to my lack of foresight. I combine this with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and my car runs great. Yes, it's huge, but it fits early FJ Cruisers with OHMO. Search the FJCruiserForums website, you will see many people using it.
