does not work with Apple Mail

This device works as advertised but note that it does not work with many. I was able to set it up in my Gmail account using the Google Chrome browser and I was able to set it up using Apple Mail on my Ipad and iPhone. However, it does not work with the desktop version of Apple Mail. I've tried at least a dozen times and it never does anything. This suggests that Apple is more to blame than the dongle itself, but it's still a problem. In my opinion, there should be a clearer disclaimer on the exact nature and variety of services this key works with. If you use one or more of these, you're in luck. If not, then unfortunately this key won't do you much good. I gave it 4 stars because it works well provided you use a browser or program with which it is compatible. But I can't give it 5 stars just because the main reason I bought this key was to use it with Apple Mail on my Mac and that's the only thing it just can't do. However, I chose to keep the key in hopes that Apple would allow this key to be used on their desktop and laptop computers. Another reason for 4 stars is the excellent customer service. They got in touch and worked diligently with me to try to identify the issue I was having and then saw that they couldn't fix it (although again this may have more to do with Apple than the dongle ), they even offered a full refund. I find this key much more secure than phone-generated codes as a second factor of authentication, so I'm hoping Apple will make it work with a future update.
