I have tried 10 different mice and this one suits me best! This is a vertical mouse, but not vertical. It is set at about 40 degrees. The two main buttons are completely silent. And on the back of the forward button on the side, there is a slight sound when you press it, but it's very weak. Once charged, the battery seems to hold up well. It also glides very well on the mouse pad. At first it didn't, and then I noticed that there were pieces of a small sheet of plastic on the bottom of the mouse. Once I take them off, they glide very well. I highly recommend this mouse.
