Review on Audio-Technica ATH-M30x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones, Black: Superior Sound and Comfort by Busaba Lek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

Experience of use 2 years. I can't say that I'm dissatisfied with the purchase. But, to be honest, if I had a choice now, I would most likely push this ruler into a corner. The sound here is good for its price, in principle, it does not cease to please. (I took it a long time ago, for 3350) Although lately I have started to notice a rattling in my right ear at a certain frequency, it is not very noticeable in rock music, for example, but in some quiet instrumental it can infuriate. It seems that he did not throw, did not advance. Weird. But it's okay, the point is, 2 years have turned these more or less neat looking ears into some strange wrinkled substance, with a soldered jack on electrical tape. This skin all went wild after about six months. It falls apart, falls off, its pieces dig into the head, this is a sad sight. I just don’t know how long modern headphones live, but something tells me that I can do it in such a way as to stretch it a little longer, or am I wrong? Maybe I just got some kind of left (first) batch with such a terrible quality of materials. But I can't put up with their appearance. In general, all the feeling of the headphones is gone. It was simply embarrassing to go out in them. As for the non-removable 3 meter wire, I already spoke, but the question is: "why?" Why not add another normal wire like on older models? Most do not need these washed-up 3 meters, which cannot be replaced. Is it really that expensive? Or should I suffer when choosing younger models? Case. Do they really think that every time I will carefully shove this 3 meter wire there? Yes, I'll get old while I put them in a case. Maybe that's why my skin is all wilted? You should have been warned then, like, be sure to put your 3 meter cords in a case, otherwise all the skin will fall into your head. You just put them on and close your eyes. That's the norm then. For sound 4.5 Per design 4 For materials . Well, it's clear here. But the plastic is good, yes. At least they haven't fallen apart yet, thanks here.

Pros
  • The sound does not carry over the edges. In general, they are suitable for various genres of music. The design, with the exception of a couple of moments, is thoughtful and comfortable. The plastic seems to be good. It sits tightly and pleasantly on the ears, the head gets tired only from high volume, but not from pressure. There is soundproofing. Oh, there's a case somewhere in the closet.
Cons
  • There are a couple of serious drawbacks. 1. The material of the ear pads and headband is disgusting. 2. The process of donning with one hand is either impossible or associated with great physical and psychological costs. There was a compromise, as I understand it. 3. And of course, of course, a non-removable 3 meter wire, which will piss you off as soon as you realize that the wires fail much faster than the headphones themselves. You weren't allowed to change it. Trolling from the manufacturer?

I did not expect good sound from headphones for five pieces until my friend showed them to me. As monitors are great.

Great headphones for home use. Watching movies, listening to music. Not necessarily from a powerful source.
