Definitely stronger than old legs (which isn't saying much). Definitely no worries about how long they will last. Even though the screws look the same, I had a hell of a time installing them. I ended up having to ream the holes a little more to make them work. The only downside is that my sofa had 5 legs, not 4 (1 in the middle) so I couldn't replace them all with one order, but it's up to me for not counting first. I ended up just replacing the front corners and center leg. When it's leaning against the wall, you never know the back is an inch lower than the front.
