Review on 🚲 SKS-Germany 11231 Anywhere Bicycle Water Bottle Attachment with Top Cage Bottle Holder by Evan Haynes

This is an original review from June 2019 I bought this holder because my wife wanted it to be in the location you see in the photos. As you can see the pipe is very thick and your standard clamp will not fit. So I went with you. The photo shows that there is a rubber membrane in the belt. I installed it after cleaning the bike to get a better grip. You don't want to install it on a dirty bike, dust/dirt can cause the rubber to slip. I put it on and let it sit for two hours to allow the material to stretch a bit. Then I tightened it again. That night she used it with a full bottle and it stayed in place perfectly and she was able to remove and put it back in with no problem. I got home and tried pulling it up a third time, but it wasn't necessary because I didn't see any slack being removed at all. When the time comes, I'll do a year-long observation. But she is completely satisfied with the product.
