If you were expecting this to be a rock solid patch with a smooth finish, forget it. Even when fully cured, it doesn't have the same strength as fiberglass and can be scraped off fairly easily. It dries to a rough, almost chalky texture that doesn't feel like gelcoat at all. You can go over it with Hairline Crack from the same company and it will improve the look of the finish, but it's far from a subtle repair. Do not try to compound and polish the patch as it will take on the color of the preparation (wax will do). Okay, but lower your expectations. I'm not sure if you can't get the same results with an external filler like bondo or water putty.
