Since buying it I've had so many compliments on what a wonderful chicken I have - honestly I don't know how I used to cook without a thermometer (poor, the answer is bad). This particular thermostat is great. It's easy to clean and I've been using it almost every day for about 6 months with no problems, either inside or outside the grill. I don't normally use an alarm (you can set it to 165 degrees for example and just leave it in the meat and it will beep when it reaches that temp) but the alarm works well and you can toggle between c/f. It comes with a little guide for the cooking temperature and there is limited guidance right after the thermometer (very helpful when I first started cooking at home). (I've definitely dropped it in the pan a few times) and it still works like the day I bought it! If this one breaks I will definitely buy another one. Great product would highly recommend for those aiming for the other 20 things cooking at home and don't want to worry about horrible dry food.
