I work for several animal rescue transport groups. All dogs must be on a leash, as must my private pets. Anyone who has ever tied their dog to a leash has often found that their dog can chew through the leash in just a few minutes. These harnesses are made from aircraft grade wire with a rubber(?) coating. They are resilient and can be used differently depending on the size of the dog, whether you're using a seat cover, traveling in the back seat of an SUV, or driving in the front seat of a pickup truck. I wish I had bought them first instead of wasting money on nylon cords.
