The cage was easy to assemble. I assembled it myself in an hour, another person to hold the parts in place would be helpful but not essential. I've taken the advice of others not to pull the screws all the way through as sometimes it takes a bit of movement to get the hole lined up properly. Overall the box was very easy to assemble and the instructions were simple. The padding is very thin, but my orthopad from an old box fits. The finials were reversible so I could customize the door opening to my needs. The box is durable and looks much better than a wire box. My little Qi jumped around waiting to try and entered immediately.
